These stories were selected by a panel of judges from more than 100 entries submitted. The theme was "the beach house," and all of the stories had to have a connection to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. There is something for everyone here, from romance, history, and intrigue to jilted brides, NASCAR drivers, cowboys, and even a ghost or two.
A pair of elderly ladies who "break out" of the old age home to go wild in Rehoboth, mysterious coins found on the beach, a romance that goes sideways "somewhere between crab cakes and cocktails," real witches at the Sea Witch Festival, a beach funeral, and a bathing suit that may - or may not - be magical. Not to mention that the judges from a certain short story contest are being murdered. This year's winning authors have served up a 24 tales of fun, all for your enjoyment.
A fortune-telling machine with a mind of its own, professional killers hanging out by the hotel pool, granny run amok in Funland… What’s happened to Rehoboth? Some very talented writers have created a book of great beach reads, that’s what!
