Lauren B. Stevens - Chicken Soup for the Soul: Military Families
Lauren B. Stevens will be appearing to sign copies of Chicken Soup for the Soul: Military Families, which includes an essay written by her.
Lauren is a freelance writer & editor, whose essays have been featured in Good Housekeeping, xoJane, Scary Mommy and Care.com, in addition to several print anthologies. A proud Air Force brat, Lauren is currently writing a book about her experiences as a "third culture kid," growing up in Europe during the Cold War. Lauren lives outside of Baltimore with her husband and son.
Chicken Soup for the Soul: Military Families is a collection of essays from those people directly affected by the ever-changing nature of military life. Readers will be struck by stories that exemplify a strong sense of community and support that military members, dependents and extended family experience, both Stateside and abroad. Chicken Soup for the Soul has partnered with the USO for this anthology, and a portion of each book sold directly benefits the work the USO does across the globe for service members, their families, and veterans.
The signing will take place on Saturday, June 3rd, from 1 until 3 PM.
