Paul G. Mast - Street Sabbatical

Street Sabbatical

Paul G. Mast will be here to sign copies of his new book, Street Sabbatical, which follows his six-month sabbatical encountering the homeless on streets and in shelters. His journey began and ended in Washington, D.C. In between he traveled to San Francisco, Dallas, Delhi, and Munich, amongst others. While the homeless in each city had different stories, each one taught him a new life lesson. Those lessons have been converted into new memories now stored in his brain cells and in his heart.

He'll also be happy to sign copies of his novel, Fatal Absolution. It's a riveting story of piety and pain, justice and judgment, morality and murder. After years of dealing with one sex abuse scandal after another, the Catholic Church must now respond to a new and altogether different issue - the murder of three Catholic priests in the quiet town of Islip, New York. Sam Bannion, a gritty and determined local police detective, has high hopes of unraveling this murder mystery. Unfortunately, Bannion must navigate through the choppy and often murkiest of waters - the Catholic Diocese of New York.

The signing will take place on Saturday, October 24th, from noon until 2:00 PM.
