Book Signing for Rehoboth Reimagined

We're welcoming four Rehoboth Beach Writers' Guild members as they sign copies of their new anthology, Rehoboth Reimagined.

The book includes eighteen short stories and ten poems that were inspired by unattributed photographs archived at the Rehoboth Beach Historical Society and Museum. “The book blends stories and poems of shipwrecks and trains; friends and family; intrigue and love,” says Cindy Hall, Guild member and editor of Rehoboth Reimagined.

The result is a volume of engaging and varied fictional works that imagine life in Rehoboth at the turn of the 20th century, and the photographs that inspired them: The 1899 Falmouth wreck sparks a short story of love and bravery from one writer, as well as poems from two others. A tale of deception and intrigue is triggered by a man holding an umbrella. People on the beach inspire poems of relationships, death and societal custom.

The signing will take place on Sunday, September 24th. Russ Reece and Irene Fick will be signing at 2:00 PM; Jess Gordon and Marjorie Weber will be signing at 3:00 PM.
